Let me introduce us…. Our strengths include listening, understanding, interpreting and being supportive to all our client’s needs.

We are a team of multi-lingual professionals (local and foreign) who have been operating in the rentals market in Zagreb for the past 6 years. We have over 1000 property listings and an extensive list of satisfied clients. We work Monday to Friday (and some Saturdays / Sundays!) ensuring that YOU, the tenant, can chose the correct accommodation for your stay in Zagreb.

We Listen – Finding the right rental accommodation is a tricky business with many things to consider. Understanding your requirements when you move to Zagreb is paramount. Will you be bringing family and do you need kindergartens, schools? Do you like outdoor space and views or the location of a city centre? Will you be working and how are you planning to commute – public transport, car or walking? By listening to your needs and understanding your requirements we will help you identify the right area of Zagreb to live in. We will show you around the areas, point out the schools, local shops, parks, bars and restaurants. And of course we will show you a great selection of available rental accommodation!

We are extremely active – in the local and expat community in Zagreb and we know that moving to a new city can be a daunting process and how critical it is that you have support in your new environment. Some of our team are foreign nationals who have been living here for years and we know the challenges that people can face when moving to a new environment. We will introduce to you other foreign nationals who live in the area and who can provide a wealth of advice on things likes schooling, medical cover, support groups, coffee mornings, business networking and other social events. We hold “Expat Thursday Nights” which are renowned and particularly good for meeting new people from which you can build new friendships. We also organise sailing, paintballing and many other excursions.

We offer support – Once you have identified the right rental property for your needs, we negotiate the rental rates and terms & conditions of the contract. We will prepare the contract in both Croatian and English; arrange the signings, deposits and key handover. We provide a check in service for the rental property (and a check out service when you leave) and go through the requirements for paying bills, security and will assist in getting local services connected – TV, telephone internet etc. Our obligations and service does not stop when you have moved in. We are always on hand throughout your stay in Zagreb to provide support and assistance.

We are legal – In Croatia, everyone is a property agent, but not everyone is certified or approved. Rent in Zagreb is an approved Real Estate Agency, registered in the “Register of Real Estate Agents” in the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and authorised by the Ministry of Economy. Our staff have all studied and qualified as Real Estate Agents and know the laws and requirements when it comes to renting property. Services for Tenants

We believe in keeping things simple. Rent in Zagreb is a full service agency and we are with you from the day you decide to move to Zagreb to the day you leave. Planning is essential. The sooner you can advise us about your move to Zagreb, the sooner we can start to find the right rental property. We will:

  • Discuss via email or phone your property preferences
  • Email you a wide selection of PDF brochures to review at your leisure
  • Discuss your short list of rental properties and schedule viewing appointments
  • Arrange to pick you up and accompany you on the visits to the selected properties. Along the way we will identify key areas of Zagreb – schools, institutions, medical facilities, your work place etc.
  • Negotiate with the owner of your chosen property – monthly rental fees’, furnishings, etc.
  • Prepare the rental contact in line with your Corporate policy. If no corporate policy, we will use our standard Rental Agreement.
  • Prepare for your arrival – liaise with the removers, assist with connection of Utilities
  • Hand over – we will be there when you move in to ensure everything is in order and deal with any outstanding items.
  • At the end of your contract we will do a hand over with the owner, review utility bills and ensure services are terminated
  • Throughout your time in Zagreb, we are on hand to assist you.
